I was given a sample of the Smashbox photo finish light foundation primer to try out from ASOS's website. both the formula and the consistency are both incredible and it is very easy to apply, the tiniest amount goes a hell of a long way. It leaves your skin so smooth and ready to apply foundation. The only problem I had with this primer is that it did break me out several hours after applying this but I won't blame the product for this as it is just my skin type that this doesn't work for, my skin is oily and I feel adding something like this just makes your face more oily and dewy. It broke me out in several spots on my chin so I had to wash my make-up off and reapply without the primer. I feel that this primer would be perfect for people who have normal skin. As for people with dry skin I feel this would dry there skin out further as it did dry mine out slightly. 

This product retails for £25 for 30ml (source boots.com) I feel this is very over priced but if you really want a good well made quality primer then you will get what you pay for with this primer, it works perfectly if you have the correct skin type. 

Upon researching this product I also found they have other primers for various other skin types such as; Smashbox Colour Corrector primer which is perfect for people who have uneven skin tone, there is also the Smashbox Photo Finish More Than Primer Dark Sport Correcting Primer which I feel would of been the perfect one for me as it's for people who are more prone to break outs.

Other primers I have found that are cheaper and just if not better are: Rimmel Stay Matte Primer £5.99 30ml (source boots.com) this primer is an amazing dupe for the Smashbox Primers, It's long lasting very delicate on skin and very easy to apply. Also the Collection Primed & Ready Smoothing make up primer £5.99 18ml (source boots.com) this primer is amazing probably one of the best primers I have ever used, it lasts a very long time, really gives your skin that healthy dewy finish and doesn't break me out.

 I received a 10 sample box of Yorkshire Tea Gold in the post the other week. I am a big drinker of tea and thoroughly enjoy very strong tea so Yorkshire Tea has been my go to tea company for a long time, I was excited when I found out they had brought out a new range called Yorkshire Gold ad I was really look forward to trying it. I emailed their company from there website and had a lovely email back and was sent the 10 bag sample and a 30p off coupon along side that. Firstly I think 10 tea bags is very generous to begin with as most other companies issue one or two tea bags at most. This tea is as I'd hoped very strong and full of flavour, It's perfect on a day where the weather isn't so nice and you can tuck up on the sofa with a brew and a bit of rubbish telly. I really did enjoy my pack of tea bags and have since tried these switched over to Yorkshire Gold as my new go to tea bag that I purchase. Now I know this isn't for everyone as it is a very strong flavour but you never know till you try it.

Britney Spears: Naughty & Nice Remix Perfume Sample Review.

I recently received a duo sample of Britney Spears's Naughty and Nice Remix perfume.

The two are complete opposites in scent and one of them is more than likely to please everyone, if you don't like one then you will probably like the other.

Let me start off with the Nice Remix: This perfume is very long lasting I could smell this on my clothes still at the end of a long day which is something I feel from a budget line perfume is very uncommon these days. This perfume retail for £22.50 for 30ml (Source: The Perfume Shop.com) which is a very good price for a perfume that I feel will go a long way. It's a very fresh, fruity and floral scent, the floral side being very subtle as I am not the worlds biggest fan of floral scents. I am a very sweet scent person which is why I love this fragrance. I have tried and purchased a lot of Britney Spears's perfumes as I always feel they are value for money. The packaging for the full size product is very plain and simple it's a almost dip died bottle with hot pink on the top going into a white bottom, it also has a chain around the top with an N stamped on it. I don't like the overall look of the bottle as I think it copies J-LO's bottle designs but a side from what it looks like the smell is amazing and one I would recommend to try out for yourself. 

The Naughty Remix: 

This bottle has the exact same design but instead of a white bottom it goes into a black. I still feel the same when I say this isn't a good design and does copy others out there. This fragrance is the total opposite of the nice remix as you would imagine it to be. I really don't like this fragrance as it's very musky and woody, two thing I am not keen on when looking for a perfume. It is however still long lasting and is something you only need a small spray of. It's yet again value for money at: £22.50 for 30ml (source: ThePerfumeShop.com) I would recommend this for people who enjoy earthy, woody and musky scents it also does yet again have undertones of flowers in there and would suit many types of people. I do feel that the Nice remix is a very fresh young scent and would suit the younger population and that the Naughty remix would be perfect for the mature generation. 

Nivea samples: Moisturiser & Skin Conditioner

Nivea - Moisturising Cream & Skin Conditioner Samples.

I stumbled across Nivea's Facebook page and noticed that they were doing a "Dare To Dip" campaign for their new in shower body moisturiser. All you had to do was fill in your details and they issued you with a couple of samples in the post. They took about 2 weeks to arrive which is normal for samples as they usually issue them all out together once the sample run has ended.  

I firstly tried the skin conditioner and was really amazed at the results, I find applying this in the shower after shaving your legs is amazing, it deeply conditions your skin and makes them super soft, I've not had such smooth legs in a long time. The other sample: Moisturising cream is nothing to really rave home about it's a thick, nice smelling moisturiser but didn't really do anything for my skin, it takes ages to dry and after a while my skin felt very dry and needed some kind of hydration. I wouldn't purchase the full size product as I feel there are much better and cheaper moisturisers out there. As far as the skin conditioner goes it is a little bit on the pricey side at: £3.56 for 250ml at Boots, I would purchase this once I found it cheaper or on some kind of deal as the product does work, leave my skin feeling amazing but at £3.56 for a small bottle I feel my moneys worth isn't really in there as you have to use a lot of product to get any kind of result. I did however see the larger bottle of this (500ml) for £3.40 at Boots so I am planing on purchasing this soon.
